Heritage and Tradition

More than just the Owner of Waubeeka Golf Links, Peter Kapiloff maintains a special connection to the property.  Ancestrally bound to the sprawling acreage, Peter Kapiloff is the great-great-great-grandson of Samuel Rhodes, who once owned the picturesque farmland that would become Waubeeka Golf Links.

A land rich with legacy, the picturesque site of Waubeeka Golf Links began as farmland purchased by Samuel Rhodes in 1875 and 1883.  For many years, the farmland produced and provided a great deal of the food and dairy available to the people and businesses of the area.  In a story that spans more than a century, the lands of Waubeeka continue to provide for the people.  Along with a picturesque public golf course, the site embraces sustainability.  Maintaining the property for habitat preservation remains at the center of all golf course transformations.
